Senior Camp 'Elite Problem Solvers: Maths Olympiads, Coding Challenges and Robotics Competitions'

n this exciting Summer holiday camp, pupils will develop advanced problem-solving skills in Mathematics, Programming and Robotics. We create the most appropriate small study group for each participant, based on their age and experience.In Maths, students will explore the style of questions found in leading UK and international mathematical challenges and olympiads. Working through carefully selected past papers and enrichment problems, pupils will learn powerful problem-solving techniques, logical reasoning strategies and creative approaches to tackling unfamiliar questions. These activities help develop mathematical confidence, perseverance and analytical thinking, while providing excellent preparation for future competitions, entrance examinations and university admissions tests.In Programming, pupils will focus on algorithmic thinking and the types of coding questions used by leading technology companies such as Google and Meta to assess candidates. Through engaging programming tasks, students will learn how to break down complex problems, design efficient solutions and develop the logical skills required to solve challenging computational puzzles. Classes will be tailored to different levels of experience, allowing both beginners and more advanced programmers to make significant progress.In Mobile Robotics, pupils will apply algorithmic thinking to real-world scenarios by programming autonomous robots to complete increasingly demanding tasks. Throughout the week, participants will prepare for a Robotics Challenge Competition, developing efficient solutions and refining their strategies to maximise performance.The Robotics Challenge Competition will take place on the final day of camp, giving pupils the opportunity to test their robots, demonstrate their creativity and celebrate their achievements.We prepare new content, materials and exciting projects for every camp. Even if your child has joined us for previous camps they will always learn new things and cover new subjects.
