Serger Quilt Along - PC

Join Cyndi for a 10-month serging adventure starting from January through October, every 3rd Tuesday of the month! This series invites you to explore creative quilting techniques using your serger. Whether you're aiming to build skills or simply want to get creative, this workshop is packed with:

✨ Demonstrations of various techniques
✨ Sew & Tell
✨ Guided hands-on practice

Feel free to stay just for the morning, or bring your lunch and sew all afternoon—it's a full-day experience!

Machines Needed:

• Overlock serger
• Coverstitch/chain machine or combo machine.
  If you only have an overlock, adaptations can be made with a sewing machine.
  Must be confident threading your machine.

Required Book:

• Bloom and Grow by Amanda Murphy (available for purchase at sign-up).

• $150 (includes book)
• $120 (if you already own the book)
  Book includes fabric and thread suggestions for an optional sampler quilt. While it's written for BERNINA, all brands are welcome! Cyndi will help Baby Lock users with adaptations.

Sample Techniques Include:

• ¼” seam allowance with 4-thread overlock or chainstitch
• Bow Tie block with snowball corners
• Jelly Roll piecing on serger
• Decorative fabric with coverstitch + threads
• Flying Geese, Tumblers, Wonky Log Cabin
• Flatlock strip piecing for block creation
• String piecing with decorative thread
• Rolled hem applique & wide coverstitch trims
