Join us for an exciting evening of short films at Kunstnerforbundet! 🏛️ Dive into the narratives crafted by talented creators followed by an engaging talk.

📽️ Curated Short Films by Ubuntu Film Club:

  1. Khadar Ayderus Ahmed, ‘The Night Thief’ (2017, 16 min)
    A Somali man's car mysteriously vanishes at night, leading him on an unexpected chase to catch the thief.
  2. Fiona Musanga, ‘Don’t Worry’ (2020, 5 min)
    A gripping tale of a young Black woman battling alcohol addiction alongside an enabling partner.
  3. Ima Iduozee, ‘Crown’ (2025, 4 min)
    Set in Helsinki, explore how Afro hair intertwines rich traditions, community stories, and the artistry of hair-styling.

After the screening, enjoy a discussion featuring Ubuntu Film Club members, Alice Mutoni and Fiona Musanga, alongside artist Nadra Hassan. 🗣️
