📣 Calling all PIT MASTERS and BACKYARD ENTHUSIASTS for an exciting day of outdoor cooking and community fun! 💥 Join us for the Slate Belt Smoke Out, a premier Northeast Barbecue Society (NEBS) Classic Contest, raising funds for 🚒 Rescue Fire Company #1 of Bangor, Pennsylvania. Your support helps provide essential equipment for our brave firefighters who protect life and property in our community.

🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳 COMPETITORS will showcase their culinary skills in two thrilling categories:

• 🐔 Wild or Farm-raised Chicken: Compete for the 🏆 Prestigious Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion titles! Show off your best with juicy thighs and perfectly smoked wings!
• 🐷 Pork Ribs: Bring your A-game with Loin Back, Baby Back, Spare, or St. Louis style ribs!

🍨 Plus, don’t forget about the Desserts for a chance to highlight your sweet side!

🍗 People’s Choice: Chicken Wings (FREE to register) - competitors will provide 100 samples for public voting. Winning team walks away with 50% of ticket sales! 🏆

👦🧒 KIDS - 17 & under (FREE to register with parent/guardian) can participate in Kids-Q: crafting delicious grilled pork chops!

🌭 Food for Purchase provided by Rescue Fire Company #1 and Second Ward Fire Company.
💰 Liberty Fire Company #2 will have their money wheel!
