Let’s delve together into this hopeful and essential guide to building transformative movements capable of facing the challenges of our time. It offers insight into grassroots organizing aimed at meeting the basic needs – affordable housing, protection at work, access to quality education – of those excluded from the economy by racism.

SlowRead is not your usual book club invitation. It's a no-prep, no-deadline zone of arpentage where we explore the book individually in parts (on the spot) and then bring everything together in conversation as a group.

• 10:20 – Read slowly, surrounded by fellow readers
• 11:20 – Share insights and join the discussion
