Embark on a 5.5-mile circular journey starting at Sole Street railway station with our Kent Women’s Walking Group. This picturesque route takes you along part of the Wealdway, through Luddesdown Valley and the stunning Silverhand Vineyard before returning via charming woodland paths.

Route Details
We kick off our adventure at Sole Street station, quickly joining the Wealdway, which invites us into the serene Luddesdown, one of Kent’s hidden valleys. Adore exquisite views as we make our way through Silverhand Vineyard, one of the UK's largest organic vineyards, known for its commitment to regenerative practices and wildlife preservation.

Did you know the vineyard was named after the medieval legend of the “Silver Hand” linked to the Luddesdown Valley? After the vineyard, we turn back towards Sole Street through tranquil woodland trails. 🌳

📏 Distance: 5.5 miles / 10 km, with a gentle ascent of 700ft
🍽️ Food & Drink: Please bring your own lunch and at least 1.5L of water for the walk.
🚽 Toilets: There may be facilities along the route; however, be prepared for nature breaks!
🐕 Dogs: Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
