Sounds Green 2026 - Wednesday 29 July - Cores do Samba

Join us for Sounds Green — a vibrant celebration of summer music held every Wednesday evening in July at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden! Enjoy a delightful evening filled with the stunning sights, sounds, and scents of summer in the beautiful Garden.

🎤 Featuring Cores do Samba! Led by Brazilian singer Caru Lins, this talented collective will take you on a journey through the infectious rhythms of Brazil, including ‘MPB’ (Música Popular Brasileira), samba, bossa nova, and funk. Celebrate iconic artists such as Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, João Donato, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Joyce, and Ivan Lins!

🥗 Picnics are welcome! Enjoy a variety of culinary offerings from food trucks, Jack’s Gelato, and The Garden Café. Bring along your favorite rug or picnic chair to relax in the gorgeous surroundings while soaking in some fantastic live music!
