Dance like nobody’s watching with La Verdad! ✨ Enjoy an electrifying evening with a premier West Coast–based Latin music ensemble, deeply rooted in the vibrant Latino experience of Los Angeles. Led by the award-winning singer and songwriter Gabriel Gonzalez (of Quetzal and Boogaloo Assassins fame), La Verdad unites world-class musicians to create a dynamic fusion of traditional and original Latin American roots music.

Their diverse repertoire includes salsa, cha cha chá, boogaloo, funk, and Latin soul, delivering an unforgettable live experience that celebrates cultural authenticity. 🎵 To honor the Summer of Salsa, Latin Gold Records will be launching a special collection of Latin vinyl, featuring classics from Ray Barretto, Celia Cruz, and Johnny Pacheco, along with a range of mariachi, ranchera, bolero, and cumbia music from the Latin community.

Founded by the son of Cuban and Salvadoran immigrants, Latin Gold Records is an online record store and pop-up in Los Angeles, specializing in Latin music, plus a range that moves you—from rock to soul, funk to punk, and everything in between.

• Live music and dancing from 7 PM to 11 PM featuring La Verdad ft. DJ Robby.

Super DJ Robby 🎧, born in Havana, is one of Los Angeles’ most celebrated salsa DJs, having performed alongside legendary artists like Oscar D’León, Marc Anthony, and the late Celia Cruz. His international career spans salsa festivals around the globe, including cities like Dubai, Zurich, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.

Join us at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes in downtown Los Angeles for an unforgettable series filled with vibrant music and dancing! Each month features a different live band, along with music by DJ Robby. Start the night with a salsa dance lesson from 6 to 7 PM—no experience is required.
