Summer Tennis League — INTERMEDIATE DIVISION

Join us for an exciting summer filled with competitive and social tennis at the Milstein Family Tennis Center at Columbia University—one of the city’s best indoor tennis venues!

This Intermediate Division is tailored for players with solid fundamentals seeking competitive matches, engaging rallies, and an organized league experience against peers. Teams will participate in a true round-robin format, ensuring each team faces off against every other team in the division.

📝 THE LEAGUE DETAILS

• Only 12 Players available (6 teams)
• Mixed Doubles Format (each team includes one male and one female player)
• 5 Matches scheduled on Saturdays from 9 AM to 11 AM
• Match Period: July 11 – August 15, 2026
• Finals: August 22
• Play on premier indoor hard courts equipped with air conditioning, locker rooms, and viewing areas.
• Cost: $340 per player (equates to just $34/hour for high-quality indoor court time)
• Balls will be provided for all matches!

🎾 MATCH FORMAT

• One match weekly per team
• Best of 3 sets with regular ad scoring (deuce/advantage)
• A 10-point tiebreaker for the third set
• 10-minute warmup before matches
• Each court time is reserved for 2 hours; if a match isn’t completed, the leading team (by sets, then by games) will be declared the winner.

📋 REGISTRATION DETAILS

• Individual Registration: Each player must sign up and pay separately.
• Partners must register individually. After registration, please email your partner’s name to victor@ad-in.me to link as a team.

🔄 MATCH SUBSTITUTIONS

If you cannot attend a scheduled match, inform the organizers in advance. We will try our best to arrange a substitute from our approved list (subs must be at an equal or lower level to maintain fairness). Remember, substitutes also incur a per-match fee.

🏆 SEASON CELEBRATION

The finals are set for August 22, where champions will receive exciting prizes! Winning teams may also have the chance to advance to the next league. All players are welcome to join the matches, ceremonies, and celebrations of the season together.
