Sustainable foraging & Cultivating Abundance

Sobre el evento

Join us for a foraging class at the Stony Creek Farmers Market in Branford, CT! This class will focus on:

  • Foraging invasives & cultivating native species for an edible landscape

As foraging grows in popularity, it's crucial to align our methods with the ecology of the species. This ensures our activities benefit ecosystems rather than harm them.

  • Amy Demers, founder of CT Foraging Club
  • Aubree Keurajian, founder of Ungardening Native Plants

The class consists of:

  • A 45-minute lecture
  • A 45-minute walk to practice plant/mushroom identification

🎟 Tickets: $30 per person, including a cup of foraged tea. Payment in cash or Venmo on the day of the class.

📧 Reserve your spot by emailing shroomsofct@gmail.com with your full name!

🌧 The class will run rain or shine.
