Sobre el evento

Join us for an energetic and playful introduction to Japanese taiko drumming! This hands-on workshop invites children to explore rhythm through movement, voice, and drumming. Participants will use traditional Japanese drums to learn simple rhythms, collaborate in small groups, and experience the powerful joy that taiko brings.

Rather than merely memorizing songs, this workshop encourages children to feel rhythm in their bodies — to listen, respond, and create sound together. Through taiko, participants develop a strong sense of rhythm, self-expression, confidence, and teamwork. Grounded in Japanese culture, this workshop fosters focus, respect, and awareness of others.
