Susan, an incredibly chatty, eccentric 45-year-old, decides to celebrate her birthday by travelling to Australia. She tries to repeat the trip she took with her friends a quarter of a century ago. This time, however, she travels alone, with the same expectations and dreams, but with the weight of twenty-five years of experience. Her wit, charm and chaos make her take stock – reflecting ironically and bitterly on friendship, love, loneliness and the pitfalls and joys of life.
