Join us for our final Cultivating Farmers Workshop of the season! 🌾

This session aims to empower farmers with the confidence needed to navigate the grant-writing process from start to finish. We will explore:

• Finding the right funding opportunities 💰
• Understanding what funders are looking for 🔍
• Crafting compelling proposals that capture your farm's unique story and impact ✍️
• Common pitfalls and budgeting basics 💡
• Tips for staying organized throughout the application process 🗂️
  Whether you are applying for your first grant or looking to enhance your approach, this workshop will provide practical tools to turn your ideas into funded projects.

Following the workshop, join the Urban Agriculture Working Group meeting to discuss opportunities for supporting and expanding urban agriculture operations throughout Los Angeles County.

We will also celebrate the community built through the Cultivating Farmers Workshop series, reflecting on our journey together over the past two years! 🎉

Our Speakers:

Elizabeth Bowman: Founder of Lunch Break Consulting, supporting organizations in community food systems. Previously Interim Executive Director at Food Access LA.

Julieta Muñoz: Urban farmer in Pomona, CA, founder of Growing Roots, with a B.S. in Plant Science.
