Tend Plantings - Maryland / Md South

Join us as we nurture our local environment by tending to native plantings along Furness Parkway! 🌼🌿
Together, we'll engage in:

• Hand weeding
• Edging
• Planting and watering

Our focus is on areas north and south of Maryland:

• North of Maryland: Woode swale, west/stump area, east/slope area
• South of Maryland: Enjoy the shade in the afternoon while we remove big weeds, plant, and water

Bring your gloves, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and snacks as needed! Feel free to bring your gardening tools – shovels, trowels, and handsnips will be most useful. We often have a few extra tools on hand!

🌞 Let's come together to plant a variety of native plants while we remove invasive species like burdock, dandelions, and creeping bellflower. There are tasks suitable for everyone, so come and see what fits you best!
