Join STATION DC for a conversation on what it takes to build a city where startups and small businesses truly thrive — and what it would take to make DC that kind of place.

We're excited to welcome Amy Liu, Acting CEO of Equal Measure, who previously spent nearly 20 years at the Brookings Institution, including serving as Interim President and as Vice President and Director of the Metropolitan Policy Program, alongside Daniel Goetzel, Practitioner-in-Residence at Harvard Kennedy School's Reimagining the Economy Project, whose work sits at the intersection of innovation, economic development, and capital structuring, building on his experience leading CHIPS Act implementation in the Biden Administration. Together, they'll explore the policy, ecosystem-building, and economic development factors that shape whether a city becomes a place where founders can build and grow.

The program will open with a short reception, followed by presentations from each speaker and an audience Q&A, and will close with lunch and networking.
