Join us for the GEAR Photography Contest 2026, where ITE, polytechnic, and university students in Singapore are invited to reinterpret one of the nation's most-awarded recent buildings through their unique lens!

This is your chance to register for the exciting photo-taking tour, where guided sessions inside The GEAR will allow you to capture your contest entries. Choose from six weekday slots between 1–7 July, or the special Sunday tour on 5 July, which offers access to Zone E - Levels 2 & 5, including K/PARK. Each participant can attend up to two slots.

Important Details:

• 📷 Any camera is welcome, be it a DSLR, mirrorless, film, instant, or even your smartphone!
• 👟 Closed-toe footwear is recommended for interior access.
• 🚁 Note: Drones and any unmanned aerial vehicles are strictly prohibited (Changi Airport airspace).
• 🚌 Participants are responsible for their own transport to and from The GEAR.
• 📝 Registration is approval-based; please specify which photo-taking session you wish to join.

The GEAR FutureSCAPE is an event that pays tribute to Kajima’s enduring belief in the harmony between engineering, architecture, and design. Inspired by the vision of the late Dr. Shoichi Kajima, who promoted the harmony of function and beauty in great buildings, this initiative aims to enhance architectural dialogue and innovative design thinking.

As The GEAR continues to evolve into a hub for R&D and cross-disciplinary collaboration, this contest marks the beginning of an exciting journey. Your photos will be judged and shortlisted, leading to a live presentation on stage at FutureSCAPE [Framing], where six finalists will pitch their works to a panel of judges with live audience voting before the award ceremony!
