Tree Tour: Connection and Community in Sylvan Hills and Capitol View

Join us for an engaging exploration of the Sylvan Hills and Capitol View neighborhoods! 🤝✨ We’ll connect with nature and each other, discussing our shared history while highlighting the beauty of Perkerson Park and the surrounding urban forest. 🌳🌼

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet neighbors and make new friends while learning about the remarkable stories that shape our community. You will also get to tour part of the Sylvan Hills Neighborhood Arboretum, a project designed with love by community members. Community spirit flourished in the mid-2000s as neighbors, Trees Atlanta volunteers, and city officials came together to establish seven Neighborhood Arboreta, enriching our local environment.

About Your Guide:

Meet S.E. Spencer Keziah, a devoted explorer of Atlanta’s urban forest! 🌲 After moving back to Georgia from North Carolina, S.E. has embraced the vibrant southwest Atlanta community. Along with her partner and dogs, she enjoys uncovering the treasures of Atlanta's nature, along with trips to the North Carolina mountains. Her experience volunteering with Trees Atlanta fuels her passion for sharing the beauty of her neighborhood with you! 🌍💕
