Washington Square Park Salsa Social

Every Wednesday evening from May to October, dancers of all levels are invited to the free Salsa Social at Garibaldi Plaza in Washington Square Park.

The series begins with a complimentary beginner class from 6:00 PM–6:30 PM, led by instructors from Mi Salsa Dura Baile, followed by open social dancing until 9:00 PM. The event welcomes all ages and skill levels, offering a friendly, outdoor community atmosphere in one of Manhattan’s most iconic public spaces.

No cover charge or registration is required, but participants are advised to check Instagram for weather-related updates. Join weekly to meet fellow dancers and enjoy Latin rhythms under the evening sky.
