Westwood Rising: summer STEAM program

Welcome to Westwood Rising: Summer STEAM Program! 🎉 This fantastic free program aims to enhance creative learning opportunities for youth in Cincinnati’s largest neighborhood. Running from early June through early August 2026, it offers recurring, arts-integrated STEAM classes for children aged 5–12.

🌞 Location: Classes will be held outdoors on the grounds of Westwood Town Hall, weather permitting, transforming this familiar civic space into a hub for creativity, learning, and play!

📅 Weekly Highlights:

• June 12: Eco Printed Bandanas with Mary Dudley - Create your custom bandana using plants gathered from around Westwood Town Hall! 🌿
• June 19: NO EVENT - Juneteenth
• June 26: Meet the Trees around Town Hall with Mary Dudley - Join us for a walk around Westwood Town Hall and learn about the trees in the park! 🌳
• July 3: NO EVENT - 4th of July Weekend
• July 10: Touch a Truck with Altafiber - Get up close with the Altafiber tuck and learn how they connect our neighborhood! 🚚
• July 17: Dinos and Digs with Westwood Library - Dive into the world of dinosaurs and dig for “fossils”! 🦖
• July 24: Compost Up Close - Learn about composting! 🪱
• July 31: Engineer It! with Cincinnati Museum Center 📐
• August 7: Water Bottle Rockets with The Cincinnati Observatory 🚀
• August 14: Animal Encounter with Great Parks 🦎

All children under 10 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
