[women only hike] Von Herrsching zum Kloster Andechs

Join us for a delightful hike hosted by Edit! 🙂 This journey takes you through one of Bavaria's most picturesque landscapes, starting at the scenic shores of Ammersee and meandering through serene forests by the Kienbach stream, culminating at the historic Kloster Andechs, a Benedictine monastery located on the Holy Mountain since 1455.

• Distance: 9.3 km
• Elevation: ~230 m
• Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
• Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

This gentle, well-marked trail is suitable for all fitness levels, featuring no technical sections. 🥾

📍 Logistics:

• Group size: Limited, please sign up!
• Meeting Option 1: München Hauptbahnhof, S8 platform direction Herrsching. Arrive by 8:45 AM for the 9:05 AM S8 train.
• Meeting Option 2: Herrsching S-Bahn station around 10:00 AM.
• Return: Aiming to be back at Herrsching station by 14:00 for the return S8 to Munich.

🧺 What to Bring:

• Comfortable shoes (trainers or hiking boots)
• Packed lunch and snacks
• At least 1.5L of water
• Sunscreen
• Light layers for the morning
