XOXA x QFC x Manual Smiles with FAFF

Saturday 28th March - Landing at Peckham’s beloved Carpet Shop, New York/London collective XOXA team up with the Brussels-based Queer Future Club and local record label + DJ Manual Smiles for a 6am extended club indulgence.

Iconic local duo FAFF lead the charge, known for elevating dance music spaces with genre-traversing sounds. Heads of the Queer rave & Label “Forever”, their unique and exciting style spans across club music genres, and has earned them spots playing at Club Raum, UNFOLD, Horst and Draaimolen festival. Now focusing on live shows they harness dreamlike synths and unique samples to create a hypnotic sound that’s truly their own.

Visiting from Brussels to represent Queer Future Club are Kiosk Radio resident Azo and Gimic radio resident Vera Moro for a special b2b. With their unmissable presence behind the booth the two artists blend futuristic acid, techno, electro, and rave, with percussive, high-energy Latin influences for a dynamic spin.

XOXA resident Panooc joins with a commanding cocktail of sounds shaped by formative years in NYC, drawing from the city’s queer club culture alongside Detroit and Chicago influences, then fused with the rawer edges of UK dance music.

Rounding out the lineup is the Belgium-born, London-based Manual Smiles, who also runs the record label of the same name. His trippy, old-school-rooted club and downtempo sounds merge with futuristic psychedelia to start the night.

This is a queer-centered party - allies are warmly welcome but please stay mindful of the space you occupy. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated - door policy in effect to ensure a respectful atmosphere. No photos or phones on the dance floor.
