Family Art Workshop for the exhibition Perspective 4: Resilience.

The cry “Land ho!” can signify hope. But it can also mean that the land is still far away. Coincidentally, in this exhibition on the theme of resilience, you will find several artworks related either to land or to water and the sea. Contemporary artists are very often interested in the environment in which they live. On the other hand, it is precisely this connection to something “fundamental” (the elements, the landscape…) that proves to be an important step toward resilience. Our relationship to the world is also a relationship to ourselves.

Through several art activities, we will explore in this family workshop what is important to us and what is not; what we are happy to do without and what, on the contrary, we would not give up. It will become clear that the relatively complex topic of values can be explored in a playful and creative way. An exhibition on resilience that defies the conventional concept of a fine art exhibition is an excellent testing ground for artistic languages—it both broadens and brings various horizons closer.
