🏳️‍🌈 Join us for the biggest celebration of love and community at the Nanaimo Pride Parade & Festival!

This year, we celebrate 10 vibrant years of the Nanaimo Pride Parade & Festival, plus 30 years of our community's journey since 1997. It’s a day filled with joy, connection, and 2SLGBTQIA+ pride!

🗓️ Parade Details:
Starting at 11:00 AM on Fitzwilliam St, the parade will march across the Bastion Street Bridge, through the heart of downtown, and make its way to Maffeo Sutton Park. Expect a colorful display of floats, music, drag performances, and much more!

The Final Float Tradition:
Be part of the excitement by joining the Final Float as it passes by! Dance your way through the streets as we all head to the festival together.

🎈 Festival Highlights (12:00 PM – 5:00 PM):

  • Explore our expanded vendor village featuring 90+ artists and queer-owned businesses!
  • Enjoy a variety of food truck options
  • Live music by BC’s renowned band Hot2Go!, alongside drag performances and cultural acts!
  • Kids Area with fun activities like a bouncy castle and games!
  • Family-friendly Social Drinking Area (19+ wristbands required).

Accessibility:

  • Mobility-friendly parade route and festival grounds.
  • Accessibility Viewing Tents and dedicated services available for those needing assistance.
  • Shuttle service is provided for easy access to the event!
  • Restrooms are accessible and all-gender.

🌤️ Stay Cool:
Visit the Cooling Zone with misters and water stations to manage the heat during the festivities!

🤝 Safe Space:
This event promotes a respectful and inclusive atmosphere, with on-site support from our Safe Space Crew in pink vests.
