A Different Date
À propos de l'événement
A Different Date is an enlightening discussion event brought to you by the Practical Psychology Club. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your self-understanding while connecting with other singles seeking meaningful relationships.
Important Criteria
- 🔹 Maximum 12 participants per event.
- 🔹 6 women and 6 men (heterosexual and looking for a date). Ages 28-40.
- 🔹 Participants should embody openness, curiosity, and a desire for personal growth through meaningful conversations.
- 🔹 Engage in a facilitated discussion based on open-ended questions and reflective insights.
First Session
Subject: Who Am I in a Relationship? - Would I date somebody like myself?
- Understanding ourselves before seeking the right partner.
Part 1 – Expectations and Positioning
- What do I hope to find in a relationship?
- Do I see love primarily as an exchange (“What do I get?”) or as something we cultivate together?
- Am I looking for someone who complements my weaknesses, or someone I can grow with?
Part 2 – Looking Back
- Did I feel loved in my childhood? In which moments?
- Have I learned that love is unconditional, or have I perceived it as conditional? How does this affect my life today?
Part 3 – My Inner Relationship Blueprint
- How, and through whose example, did I construct my vision of an ideal relationship?
- Is that vision still relevant in my life today?
- What type of family life do I envision?
Final Reflection
- If the person you are today walked into the room as a stranger, would you want to date them? Why or why not?
- Am I becoming the kind of person I would love to meet?
Note: This is an educational activity, not a speed-dating event or matchmaking service. The aim is to foster self-awareness and genuine connections among singles.
