Alden is a distinguished graduate of the Herbie Hancock Institute, and her exceptional work has earned her the 2025 German Jazz Prize for Debut Album of the Year (International) with her album Good Intentions under Fresh Sound Records. She shines on international stages including the NYC Winter Jazz Festival, Hollywood Bowl, and Blue Note Jazz Festival! 🌍

Alden has garnered many accolades including:

• New Music USA’s Next Jazz Legacy (2026)
• Chamber Music America’s Performance Plus Grant (2025)
• ASCAP’s Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award (2024)
• Focusyear Fellowship (2021-22)

In her new project Tether, Alden explores the facets of density, motion, and low-end gravity based on her experiences in Los Angeles. This composition embodies a rich tapestry of moods and textures, highlighted by her unique improvisational language.

The album features contributions from prominent artists such as Logan Kane, Miller Wrenn, Justin Brown, Paul Cornish, and Yakiv Tsvietinskyi, and is set for release on June 26th through Leiter Verlag.
