About Alejandro Escovedo

A celebrated singer and songwriter, Alejandro Escovedo possesses a rich and eclectic background, firmly establishing himself as one of the standout rock artists of his generation. Since his debut album Gravity in 1992, Escovedo has consistently broken the mold. His 2001 work, A Man Under the Influence, showcases diverse genres, while 2008's Real Animal and 2016's Burn Something Beautiful highlight his affinity for passionate, guitar-rich rock. His recent album, The Crossing, and its Spanish-language counterpart, La Cruzada, narrate the compelling immigrant experience.
