Annual Fireworks Show & Food Truck Festival

Join us for a night filled with excitement at Plainfield's Annual Fireworks Show! 🎇 Happening around 9 p.m. on July 3, this spectacular event is hosted by the Plainfield Park District in partnership with the Village of Plainfield at Plainfield Central High School, located at 24120 W. Fort Beggs Drive.

But that's not all! From 4 to 9 p.m., indulge your taste buds at the Fourth Annual Plainfield Food Truck Festival at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center (24550 W. Renwick Road). 🍔🌮

Recommended Viewing & Parking Locations for the Fireworks:

• Plainfield Central High School
• Gregory B. Bott Community Park
• St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Parish Church

Important Information:

• Closures on July 3:

  • Baseball fields and bike path at Gregory B. Bott Community Park will close at approximately 10 a.m.
  • Playground at Gregory B. Bott Community Park will close at 8:30 p.m.

• Parking Restrictions:

  • No Parking on Renwick Road between Hometown Drive and Spangler’s Farm Drive
  • No Parking on River Road
  • One side of Hometown Drive will have no parking

A limited number of accessible parking spots will be available near the Plainfield Central tennis courts, so be sure to arrive early if you need access. 🚗

Expect increased pedestrian traffic in the area, and all drivers are advised to proceed with caution during the afternoon and evening of July 3. Please note that significant traffic delays may occur at the end of the events. 🚦

Important Reminder: No alcohol is permitted at any of the viewing locations.
