Closed-door roundtables bringing together government, finance, and industry to design the next phase of carbon removal in APAC.
Home to more than 60 percent of the world’s population and approximately half of global emissions, Asia-Pacific will play a decisive role in shaping the future of carbon removal. Technical capability, financial expertise, and project development capacity are expanding across the region. The next phase of progress, however, depends on coordinated demand signals, regulatory clarity, and institutional adoption. How can the Asia-Pacific finance and scale carbon removal by 2030 and beyond?
The APACdr Summit convenes policymakers, institutional capital, industrial buyers, and project developers to address this and other key questions. Carbon removal is forecast to be a trillion-dollar industry and is recognized by scientists around the world as a central tool to achieve net zero targets, in tandem with reducing emissions.
The Summit will examine how carbon removal integrates into Asia Pacific’s broader electrification and industrial transition, including the development of carbon infrastructure within emerging clean value chains. The Summit is organized by the Carbon Business Council and Emerald Climate, in partnership with market leaders.
