Our Asian LitChat meetups provide a welcoming space for engaging and reflective conversations about Asian literature. Each session focuses on a unique theme, encouraging participants to delve deeper into related readings. This time, we're diving into the captivating world of Short Stories in Asian literature!

Short stories are like windows into diverse cultures, histories, and emotional experiences, often encapsulated in just a few pages. They spark interpretation and discussion, making them a perfect medium to explore Asian and Asian-diaspora literature.

What to Expect:

Bring: 1-3 collections of short stories by one Asian author or compilations from multiple authors that inspire you.
Format: We will break into smaller groups, providing each participant the chance to share insights about their chosen book(s). Feel free to discuss anything that resonates with you; your experiences enrich the conversation!
Guidance: Open conversation is encouraged, with prompts available for those who wish for a deeper discussion.
