
Barbour Award 2026 Finalist Reading: David Masello's POETIC JUSTICE
Join us for an exciting evening at the Barbour Award 2026 Finalist Reading! 🎭 This special event is a collaboration between the Episcopal Actors' Guild (EAG) and the CROSS/CUT Theatre Collective. Over three weeks, we will showcase readings of three remarkable new plays, culminating in one deserving playwright being awarded a prize of $500.
🌟 Featured Play: Poetic Justice by David Masello
Set in NYC during the early 80s, this powerful narrative unfolds against the backdrop of the AIDS epidemic. A single poem transforms the lives of those involved, leading a young poet on a riveting journey. Along the way, he encounters Howard Moss, the acclaimed poetry editor of The New Yorker, as well as the infamous Mafia don, whose past is intricately tied to the young man's life.
