🎶 Javon Jackson - A tenor saxophonist with a rich legacy in jazz, having played with Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and produced by Betty Carter. His journey through jazz includes collaborations with legends like Caetano Veloso, Frank Zappa, and Muddy Waters. Currently, he serves as the Director of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz Studies at Hartford’s Hartt School.

🎶 Nnenna Freelon - A seven-time Grammy Award-nominated vocalist known for her compelling live performances. Her career highlights include the Apollo Theater and the Hollywood Bowl. Her upcoming album, Beneath The Skin, is described as her most intimate work, expanding the repertoire for jazz singers.

🎶 Charles McPherson - An alto saxophonist who performed with Charles Mingus for over a decade. A veteran of Clint Eastwood films and a recipient of the Don Redman Lifetime Achievement Award, he continues to evolve his bebop roots after six decades.
