Join us for the inaugural Black Graduation Art Fair, hosted by Wa Na Wari at the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM)! This exciting two-day event will showcase over 30 Black visual artists from across the United States and the African diaspora, under this year’s theme of Lineage & Emergence. 🌍✨
What to Expect:
- Diverse Artworks: Explore a rich array of creations including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.
- Keynote Address: On the opening night, hear from Chela Mitchell, founder of Chela Mitchell Gallery, who will discuss the transformative power of art collecting within the Black community. 🗣️
- Live Performances: Enjoy live music from Ancient Robotz and beats by DJ THEISHYU!
- Community Engagement: Participate in portfolio reviews and community art activities.
- Cinematheque Soundtrack: Experience a unique brunch event that reimagines Boomerang through live sound, inspired by the score by Marcus Miller. 🎶

Why Attend?
