Join us at the Boathouse Jam every Wednesday evening from 6-8:30 PM, April through October! 🌅 Bring your acoustic instrument and let your musical spirit shine in this inclusive gathering for all ages—whether you're a seasoned musician or just starting out.
Hosted by the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club, this event aims to activate our scenic shoreline while fostering acoustic collaborations in Brooklyn. Just bring a smile and your instrument (or your voice) to join our makeshift band for the night! 🎤🎸
There's no entry fee, but we encourage a suggested donation of $5-10. Limited beverages will be available. 🍹
📍 Location: The Boathouse is located at 165 2nd Street, Brooklyn NY between Bond Street and the Gowanus Canal. Sessions happen rain or shine—we gather outside unless it's too cold or rainy, in which case we move indoors.
Since 1999, the Dredgers have been empowering citizens to advocate for and care for the Gowanus Canal through conservation and education, raising awareness about sewer overflow issues affecting our beloved waterway. 🌊
