Boathouse Bluegrass Jam
Join us every Wednesday evening for the Boathouse Jam from 6 PM to 8:30 PM, running from April to October! 🌅 Bring your acoustic instruments and your voice for a magical night of music under the sky.
Hosted by the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club, this event is all about activating our beautiful shoreline while nurturing acoustical collaborations in Brooklyn. We welcome musicians of all ages and skill levels—just come with a smile and your favorite musical instrument!
While entry is free, a suggested donation of $5-10 is encouraged to help support our efforts. Limited beverages will be available. 🍻
Location: 165 2nd Street, Brooklyn, NY, between Bond Street and the Gowanus Canal.
Sessions happen rain or shine—gather outside the Boathouse unless the weather calls for us to move inside. 🌦️ Since 1999, we've empowered our community to care for the Gowanus Canal through advocacy, conservation, and education. Join us in promoting waterfront stewardship and raising awareness about sewer overflow issues affecting our beloved canal! 🌊
