Book Signing with Tim Cross: Artist, Author, and Former Brushy Inmate

Join us for an enlightening opportunity to hear from Tim Cross, a former inmate of Brushy Mountain Prison! 🎨

Tim will be at Brushy Mountain on July 24 and 25, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, to discuss and sign copies of his memoir, CONVICTED: A Criminal Memoir: Former Brushy Mountain Prison Inmate and Artist Paints a Self-Portrait Through His Life Stories.

This compelling book serves as a self-portrait of 'Con Artist' Tim Cross (#265175), who spent three years of his life (ages 23–26) in Brushy Mountain State Prison from 1996 to 1999. During his incarceration, he was commissioned to paint murals throughout the facility, showcasing his artistic talent.

Experience the reality of life behind bars through Tim’s gripping narrative, as he recounts his journey from a Generation X outlaw to transformation and redemption. The cover artwork stands as a memorial to his time in prison and is currently displayed at the Brushy Mountain Prison Museum in Petros, Tennessee.
