We hear a lot about boundaries as walls—
block, delete, cut off.
And sometimes, that’s exactly what’s needed.
But if that’s the only response we have, it can leave us guarded, disconnected, or unsure how to let people in.
This workshop is about something more nuanced:
Boundaries that don’t just protect you—
they create the kind of relationships you actually want.
Because you deserve both:
to feel safe and to feel connected
This workshop blends coaching, empowerment, and self defence tools to help you build the kind of connections you long for.
You'll come away with:
Clarity on your boundaries
Know your needs, limits, and standards
Confidence to communicate them
Say what you want (and don’t want) clearly and comfortably
A felt sense of what “safe” means
So you can recognise relationships that meet you there
Practical tools for real situations
—in family and friend dynamics, dating or romantic life, work and everyday interactions
Trust in yourself
Without second-guessing, over-explaining, or over-giving
Plus: simple, effective self-defence techniques to de-escalate and create space when it matters
Hosted by The Power Project’s Maya D’Amour, researcher and Empowerment Self Defence coach, in partnership with Louise Amber Coaching an EMCC‑accredited coach and mindfulness teacher dedicated to empowering people in their communication, confidence, and real‑world relational skills.
This workshop is open to women, people socialised as women, and people living in women's bodies. If that's not you but you think you'd be well served by it, or if you have any other questions, please reach out: hello@thepowerproject.space
