Bug Watching for Youth

Join Friends of Roberts for a delightful guided walk to explore the incredible world of insects in the Sanctuary! 🌿 We'll kick off with a brief introduction at the visitor shelter located at the east entrance, followed by a leisurely stroll for about an hour to observe various insects that play crucial roles in our ecosystem and reflect the health of local waters! 🦗

Our expert guide, Jessica Miller, holds a Masters in Entomology from the University of Minnesota and leads a vibrant “Bug Club” every summer. 🌞 This experience is perfect for all ages, including children accompanied by parents or caregivers. Youth aged 12 and older are welcome to join without an adult.
