Join Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation Matriarch, Wendy Nahanee, for a delightful afternoon filled with tea, bannock, and rich cultural connections! ✨

Dive into hands-on learning as Wendy shares her teachings on one of the Four Sacred Medicines – the cedar tree. Discover its cultural significance, traditional uses, and its deep ties to wellness and land-based knowledge.

Participants will also have the chance to craft a cedar bark bookmark alongside Knowledge Keeper Leonard Williams. Plus, don’t miss out on insights about the upcoming National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration in Burnaby! 🌅
