Join us for an exciting journey into the world of Analog-Alternative–Experimental Photography! This intermediate summer series builds on the foundation laid in the Basic Analog & Alternative Photography course, designed for those eager to delve deeper into their photographic practice. 📸✨

Course Highlights:

• Target Group: Photographers with basic experience in shooting, developing, and printing film (B&W and color).
• Techniques Covered: Large-format camera usage, anthotype, cyanotype, and more!

This modular program offers a diverse range of techniques for you to choose from, allowing for personal artistic exploration. Workshops will focus on your chosen techniques, from cutting-edge experimental practices to strong technical foundations.

Possible Topics include:

• The artistic mindset: Review of the basic course & developing your visual language.
• Experimental techniques: Pinhole photography & soft-focus methods.
• Silver-halide-based processes: Liquid emulsions, lumen prints, tintypes.
• Special films and treatments: Infrared photography & film souping.
• Alternative darkroom techniques: Split-grade printing, lith printing.
• Post-visualization: Sabattier effect, mordançage, print toning.
• Duotone and multi-colored cyanotypes, among other techniques based on participants’ interests.

Practical Information:

• Enrollment Fee: €40 (students) / €60 (non-students)
• Duration: 10 sessions
