Join us for the "Class of 1918 Marsh" Bird and Nature Adventure at Lakeshore Nature Preserve, guided by UW Emeritus Limnology Professor John Magnuson! 🌊👣
📍 Location: 2002 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI 53705

What to Expect:
- A short, engaging walk to explore the hidden gems of the historic Class of 1918 Marsh.
- Stunning boardwalk lookouts with views of serene ponds and fascinating wetland flora and fauna. 🌼🐤
- Opportunity to identify various birds, plants, and flowers using nature guides. 🐦📖
Important Details:
- Wear appropriate shoes as some areas may be wet.
- Bring water and be prepared for a short walk to rustic toilets.
- Respect the natural environment by staying on trails and not collecting anything.
- Kids under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Family-friendly, welcoming, and educational! No registration needed and pets are not allowed.
- In case of hot weather, we may limit our time in the sun.
