Climate Security Forum - King's College & E3G

Amidst geopolitically turbulent times, climate action risks being sidelined as governments prioritize defence spending and economic resilience in response to multiple global crises. This has brought new impetus to integrating climate and energy into the realm of security policy.

Nearly 20 years after the UK first raised the issue of "climate security" at the UNSC, join E3G and King's College for a day of programming diving deep into the field. Headlined by a panel featuring UK Minster for Climate Katie White, EU Special Envoy for Climate Anthony Agotha, and UN Special Rapporteur on Climate Change, Elisa Morgera this workshop will look at what challenges a changing climate brings to defence, national security, and geopolitical stability.
