Cocktails, Folktales & Foraging with Sand River

An Evening with Sand River, Thursday 14th May 4pm-6pm, East London
Step into a little-known woodland in East London, for a magical evening of foraging, wild cocktails, folklore, and fire.
Hosted by Sand River, this intimate gathering invites you to slow down and reconnect with nature as we explore the wild tastes, wild smells, wild stories and forgotten pathways of this special London enclave.
Guided by experienced forager Max Martin (@mindinnature), the evening will start with a short introduction before we walk through the woodland, discovering what’s in season and how it can be used. The journey ends at a fireside camp, where we’ll enjoy a cocktail or mocktail featuring wild ingredients - some of which you’ll have foraged yourself.
Sand River invests in early-stage startups that value, protect and restore nature. We like to host gatherings for people thinking deeply about how we work with the natural world.
