What happens when we put down our screens and pick up a paintbrush, a pen, or a piece of paper? This intimate and thoughtful morning gathering brings together artists, a psychotherapist, and a leading cultural voice to investigate how the act of making — in all its forms — can help us slow down, think with greater clarity, and feel more deeply connected to ourselves and to one another.

🎙️ The Panel

Moderated by Yasmin Jones-Henry (FT writer and trustee at Crafts Council), the conversation will weave together perspectives from artists on the Well–Crafted roster and Mazelle Siton, leadership coach and psychotherapist.

The panel will explore how seemingly simple acts — drawing, dancing, writing — can reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and even help reshape the way we think and feel. You'll also hear candid stories from the Well–Crafted community about the unexpected "aha" moments that arise in workshops when people step away from the digital world and reconnect in a more human, meaningful way.
