A special morning celebrating London Craft Week and the analogue series at Ladbroke Hall
What happens when we put down our screens and pick up a paintbrush, a pen, or a piece of paper? This intimate and thoughtful morning gathering brings together artists, a psychotherapist, and a leading cultural voice to investigate how the act of making â in all its forms â can help us slow down, think with greater clarity, and feel more deeply connected to ourselves and to one another.
Moderated by Yasmin Jones-Henry (FT writer and trustee at Crafts Council), the conversation will weave together perspectives from artists on the WellâCrafted roster and Mazelle Siton, leadership coach and psychotherapist.
Artists joining the discussion include:
Their practices â spanning pattern-making, calligraphy, and illustration â each offer windows into how focused, hands-on creativity fosters moments of calm, mental clarity, and genuine insight in everyday life.
The panel will explore how seemingly simple acts â drawing, dancing, writing â can reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and even help reshape the way we think and feel. You'll also hear candid stories from the WellâCrafted community about the unexpected "aha" moments that arise in workshops when people step away from the digital world and reconnect in a more human, meaningful way.
This event marks the launch of WellâCrafted's summer season of hands-on workshops, running from Pride through to Summer Solstice and Carnival:
