As part of the Dublin By Dusk initiative, this workshop will be held at the National Museum of Ireland, Kildare Street. Embrace the art of creating beautiful prints using eco-friendly practices in a meditative environment. 🌿
What You'll Learn:
- The Japanese kento registration system
- Basics of Mokuhanga prints
- How to use traditional Japanese brushes
- Carving techniques
- Preparing a block for printing
- Traditional paper laying methods
- Printing techniques, including bokashi (gradation)
