Deaf Beach Party SF DNO anniversary

Join us for the 8th Anniversary of the SF Deaf Beach Bonfire at Ocean Beach! 🌊🔥

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026
• Time: 12 PM - 4 PM Potluck (no glass), 4 PM - 9 PM Fire Pit (clean up yourself)
• Location: Near stairs labeled number 16, across from Beach Chalet, 1019 Great Hwy, San Francisco.

What to Bring:

• Coat, blankets, wood, and drinks.
• Potluck contributions based on your last name:
  • A-F: Bring a main dish
  • G-N: Salad
  • O-U: Veggies
  • V-Z: Dessert
• Please ensure all food is pre-cooked and remember: NO GLASS!

Transportation:

• Parking available & easy access via public transportation (MUNI 5 bus or walk from ‘N’ Judah train).

Classes Available: 💬

• 9:30 AM: ASL 1 Class Review (Suggested donation $10-$20)
• 10:45 AM: ASL Level 2 Catch Up Class (Donation as well)
• 9 AM - 12 PM: Classes for beginners

Community Etiquette:

• This is a Deaf space. Please use ASL and respect the social environment.
• Avoid interrupting conversations and ensure you make space for the Deaf community.

Note: If it's a 'spare the air day', the fire pit may be canceled, but the beach event will still happen!
