In this interactive, plant-based workshop, we will explore the art of permaculture and the principles of water-conserving gardening using the nursery as our backdrop. You’ll learn how to:
- Choose climate-adapted plants 🌾
- Build rich, healthy soil 🌍
- Create simple plant communities that promote conservation and support life 🌼
This is an excellent opportunity to gain the confidence needed to design a resilient garden that flourishes!
📚 About Your Instructor: Jessi Bloom
Jessi Bloom is a renowned best-selling author and an award-winning ecological landscape designer. As a certified arborist and passionate speaker, she leads N.W. Bloom EcoLogical Services in Seattle, renowned for its innovation in permaculture and sustainable landscaping. 🌳 Her work is recognized by government bodies, media, and various organizations, and she actively participates in shaping policies related to ecological conservation and climate change. Jessi resides in Woodinville on a small permaculture farm filled with functional gardens and animal rescues.
