Drawing on the Lawn
Join us for Drawing on the Lawn—a delightful series of free, drop-in drawing events open to all ages and skill levels! Set in the stunning front lawn of the Gallery near the Merrion Square entrance, these sessions invite everyone to unleash their creativity at their own pace. ✏️
Whether you're a seasoned artist or trying your hand at drawing for the first time, you’re welcome to come and sketch in this relaxed outdoor atmosphere. Let the beauty of the Gallery's surroundings inspire you—from the architecture of the Gallery building to the charming Georgian streetscapes and the bronze statue of William Dargan by noted Irish sculptor Thomas Farrell R.H.A. 🌳
Each session is designed to be inviting, inclusive, and accessible. Our dedicated Education Team members will be present to provide encouragement and guidance throughout your artistic journey.
Participation is entirely free, with no prior booking required, and all materials will be provided. For any inquiries, feel free to reach out at education@ngi.ie.
Plus, entry to the Gallery itself is free, so after sketching, why not explore our world-class collection inside? 🖼️
