Back for its 7th year, the festival features thrilling performances from some of the most exciting contemporary artists. This year, we’re particularly thrilled to introduce a vibrant mix of Catalan artists who will explore themes of identity, ritual, ecology, and collective experience through captivating physical storytelling.

What’s Happening? 🎭

🔸 Fragments of Us by @TalawaPresents in collaboration with FUBUNATION and Sonia Hughes – a dance and spoken word performance that delves into ancestry and belonging.
🔸 Garbh by @ShyamDattani and Mira Salat – a contemporary reimagination of the traditional Gujarati folk dance, Garba.
🔸 ElevateHer by Daughters of the Wire – an all-female wire walking performance celebrating sisterhood and empowerment.
🔸 The Torch by @NigelPrezTaylor – an engaging gig-theatre experience combining afrobeat, hip-hop, and storytelling centered on identity and legacy.
🔸 Stick and Stone by Ferdinando + Bernstein – a performance that merges physical comedy with visual imagery to reconnect audiences with nature.
🔸 U.F.A by Cris Clown – a public installation featuring a suspended clown in the street.
🔸 Domte by Nacho Flores – a poetic duet influenced by mythology and transformation.
🔸 Water Silhouettes by Teatro en Movimiento Callejerx – a participatory exploration of water scarcity through symbolism.
🔸 Captain C-Man by Cormac Mohally @updowncircusfestival – a dazzling juggling and circus show for everyone, performing exclusively on Saturday, 25th July.
🔸 Balance by @Brainfools – a circus-theatre experience reflective of pub culture, performing exclusively on Sunday, 26th July.
