This Resting, Patience explores the captivating themes of attraction, voluntary objectification, intimacy, and the aesthetics of nudity. Over a span of three hours, Ewa Dziarnowska and Leah Marojević will dance, both solo and in unison, on the striking blue carpet at the heart of the Fondation.

Through an experimental approach, this work challenges the traditional boundaries of installation and the linear nature of performance. It diverges from viewing dance as mere spectacle, instead highlighting its inherent social and relational qualities. By focusing on the body, This Resting, Patience envisions sensuality and dance as timeless practices that can transform our perception of the world, creating a continuous present that is tender, loving, and attentive.
