Numa economia de afetos, relações são modelos de ganhos e perdas, lucros e prejuízos, abundância e desperdício. Na pista de dança, essas relações ganham outra forma e outra responsabilidade coletiva - dançar é um dispositivo de mudança e uma estrutura única sustentada por indivíduos plurais. Dançar não é um ato passivo, mas uma consciência ativa de que o próximo passo tem de ser cuidado em harmonia com aqueles com quem partilhamos a pista de dança. Falar de afetos deixa de ser sobre idealizar mundos cor-de-rosa e gentis e passa a ser um reconhecimento daquilo que nos afeta e das formas como afetamos os outros.

Dia 6 de Agosto, voltamos a encontrar-nos na pista onde nasce um mundo tão antigo e tão novo. No bar, TAXSH e KAPP ativam o circuito; na disco, as caras familiares MEIBI e DEXTER convidam a singular JULIANA HUXTABLE para uma reflexão entre dança e tecnologia. As performances de KEVINLET e LEO SOUZA reafirmam o indivíduo que não começa e termina no corpo, mas excede os limites físicos que o corpo delimita.

Under an economy of affections, relationships are models of gains and losses, profits and damages, abundance and waste. On the dancefloor, these relationships take on another form and another collective responsibility — dancing is a device for change and a unique structure sustained by plural individuals. Dancing is not a passive act, but an active awareness that the next step must be cared for in harmony with those with whom we share the dancefloor. To speak of affections is no longer about idealizing rose-colored and gentle worlds, but about recognizing what affects us and the ways in which we affect others.

On August 6, we meet again on the dancefloor where a world so ancient and so new is born. In the bar, TAXSH and KAPP activate the circuit; in the disco, the familiar faces MEIBI and DEXTER invite the singular JULIANA HUXTABLE for a reflection between dance and technology.
